I actually have updated instructions lol.
It can be a bit finnicky, but it will eventually work. Your items should be duped in your personal stash and also appear in your shared stash. Restart the app and login with the character used for duping.After moving stuff around, save and quit. You will NOT see a save icon from this point forward. Move those items back to your personal/backpack, but also move around a bunch of items in the shared stash that you’re not trying to dupe.Ħa. You’ll notice the items are no longer in your personal/backpack but are instead placed back into your shared stash. Log back in with the character used for duping. Wait the 1-2 seconds to see the character-selection list, then exit the game app. Save and exit after the save icon appears. Your items will disappear into the void!! Simply restart the process and attempt it again until you get the save icon. *** IMPORTANT: in steps 2 and 3, if you move items from shared to personal stash and you do not see the save icon, DO NOT QUIT THE APPLICATION. If it pops up during the move that works too, but don’t trust the save icon before anything is moved. For best results, try to get the save icon AFTER moving your gear from shared to personal/backpack. Re-enter the game and move your gear from shared stash to personal stash/backpack. Wait for save icon to appear, then save and quit the game. Move items you wish to dupe in a shared stash. Not sure how to do this on console, but it’s easier without an internet connection. Set the Nintendo switch to airplane mode. Here’s how you do it, but be warned: if you dupe to get good stuff like HR’s it’s a slippery slope to ruining the game for yourself. So I figured it out on the nintendo switch and ruined the game for myself.
